DIY Patched Leather Jacket

How terrible it is to witness your swag buddy, the faux leather jacket peeling by itself, slowly dying and being useless?  Moreover it is not reinforced with natural fibers like cotton, it would crack even when it is not exposed to the sun. Had been abandoned such poor thing in the closet for almost a year but I don't want its life to end too soon. No idea what to do. Low maintenance since its beginning, got abandoned for more years, oh how sad it looked.
Then came the embroidered leather jacket into style, made me think to use some pretty embroidered patches to cover those huge cracks all over the jacket. Without taking too much time, a bunch of badass woven badges caught my attention in a craft shop and I automatically aimed to cover those irritating defects on my old jacket  using them. Wooo it's gonna look even more interesting!
My neighbor The Cat, tried to steal my attention when starting to focus on my DIY Project of the day.
Stradivarius maroon beanie, Mom's DIY chiffon shirt, New Look boots.

Tacky much? That's your business.

Play Plaid

I never feel insecure about how do I look when wearing plaid. It's timeless, versatile, and simple, but also gives touch of swag on anyone who wears plaid. When I'm not in the mood for mixing and matching outfit or thinking about which pattern and color suits my today's mood, I could simply grab the plaid ones. Then I'm ready to go. I matched it with my favorite washed out denim shorts and wrapped my flannel shirt around my waist for creating 90's look, proofing there are so many ways to wear plaid.

London Calling

God Save The Union Jack. Well, who doesn't like the Union Jack clothings anyway? This is one of very few state flags that goes well with fashion and also timeless. I don't wear something Union Jack by the way, but it's my print mini dress with the Underground picture which leads me to the thought of anything related to United Kingdom.

Add Some Sheer on Her Night Out

This ain’t an average sheer outfit. I was wearing a dress designed by my talented friend, Monita Sitanggang. I can’t decide which trend it wants to get behind! She had a tie dye class last year and got a project to make some products of it. And the result is wonderful, she turned it into a cool tie dye-sheer-velvet dress and also proved that tie dye can be so dressy. When the sheer trend is usually paired with light fabrics, she combined it with velvet which is heavier. I love how effortlessly stylish I look with it and how the velvet, sheer panels and the sugary colored tie dye mingled in one piece of dress. The envelope clutch is made by her as well. Here, I dressed this up with a pair of Gosh lace up sneakers and a black bowler hat.

Smells Like Grunge

Just indulged my inner grunge, the "I don't care attitude", I realize how cool and exciting is grunge, although not everyone would like it. But the attitude of the grunge itself is being a bold individual that can't be bothered by what people call 'normal'. Lace up boots or sneakers always work for a typical grunge look. Unfortunately I don't have enough studded details to finish off the whole look since it was only the bracelet.
First look: Magnolia leather jacket, little black dress, Stroberi necklace. Second look: Black blazer, shorts from flea market, Bunga triple chain necklace, Gosh lace up sneakers, Ray-Ban teashade.

Print Me Roses in My Heart

Currently looking for new and creative ideas for how to reuse/recycle my old fashioned stuffs. I found my old black denim  pants which doesn't look good and looks weird when I wore. So I spontaneously thought of cutting them out. I made a zig zag cut on it. Anyways the shorts now looks like one in Flinstone's. I mixed it with the rose leggings (had no idea what would be perfectly match to these ones yet)and an A-symmetric shirt. Then voilĂ  !

Black A-symmetric shirt, DIY zigzag shorts, Fillmore wedges.
