I completed this look with my DIY sneakers which real colors are already fade. Repainted it with acrylic paints that I bought from a bookstore. After all, it's nice to have these old sneakers to accompany me for a walk once more.

Hanging Shoes on Your Neck
Welcome to my DIY statement necklace post! It seems like I never let my childhood - 90's memories gone completely, because I'm gonna use my Barbie doll shoes as pendants for the necklace. So here we go. The steps are so easy to follow. I need less than one meter jewelry chain, a bunch of jump rings, a closure, and jewelry plier. I used black chain to give contrast from those neon colored shoes.
First, create a small hole on the side of shoes by piercing it by a pushpin.
Then attach the closure to the chain. I used lobster claw type because it's the easiest closure to find in my place.
Attach the shoes to the chain by getting it threaded with jump rings using jewelry plier. Next, keep adding on shoes.
And finally, I'm so ready to wear my new quirky necklace!

Snail mail: New Envelopes to Send!
When I'm getting bored sending snail mails with the ordinary envelopes over and over again to my pen pals, I tear off some pages of my old magazines and make a few catchy envelopes. Moreover it's so cheap and fun to do!

DIY Rainbow Pandora and Mr. Peabody Chainlet
Beside my thesis, I got nothing to do on this stormy Friday so I'm escaping myself for a while into DIY world with Mr. Peabody toy I got from Happy Meal and pandora bracelet with rainbow colored satin cord. These are so easy and simple, just get the chain twined to the toy and add the pandora beads to the cord. There is always a rainbow after the storm, there is the rainbow after my creative stormy Friday.

Create Your Own Sole Art
I love shoes since I was a little kid.
The feeling grows stronger when I saw the most stunning shoes –
sneakers with fabulous patchworks on them, when I was walking through a shoes shop and I got them finally,
luckily. It was so fancy and colorful that I couldn’t stop staring at. I wondered
how a person had an idea to create such a wonderful pair of sneakers.
These are few sneakers that I created a
few years ago in high school. A few unused fabrics were sewed on them, then
voilà ! Seems childish but I don’t really care about how it seems because the
only matter is that I can pour my idea onto shoes, especially the boring old
shoes and I’m content. I have admiration on how Christian Loubutin constantly
innovating in designing amazing heels, even sneakers. So, don’t immediately
throw your old shoes away, if they can still be used just because you bored of
them. Otherwise, you can recreate them and turn them into a brand new looking
shoes just after some magic poured from your heart and mind!
Appearing
on Gogirl! Magazine December edition. Would also love to say Merry Christmas, sweethearts!

The Chapel Where I Prayed For You
I have never styled this way before. I have always been pretty consistent with bright colors and different patterns, but this time I want to try something darker and simple. But still, my personality comes out from the scarf I wore.
Sleeved black dress sewed by mom, DIY scarf,
MichELLE.CLA giraffe heels, Teashades glasses.

Fashion is You 2nd Edition
Le Peinture Bizarre
Thrilled to strut our styles on the catwalk, the biggest fashion show in Indonesia of this year held by Galeries Lafayette Jakarta, October 26th 2013. Three categories were chosen; Mixology, Smokey Rock and Cocktail Time. At the end, a fancy fashion party had finally sealed the night.
The outfit I was wearing are my DIY project with my clothes - fringed and doodled, Lady Star chiffon outer, Ariesta Mode black boots. To make it more playful and quirky, I added my DIY vegie necklace and ring, made from fridge magnets right from the kitchen.

Surprise on Girlfriend ID Magazine
Having lunch at Roppan: Toast to Happiness. Actually I already got the happiness in this day. In advance, I checked whether my favorite magazine was already in store, and I found out something surprising...
Finally my first article was published by the most down to earth magazine: Girlfriend ID! :D
Well, it's an article writing competition anyway. The participants should choose one out of three themes: women, environment, or movies.
I chose "Ladies Affairs Around the Globe" as the title. There were lots of competitors so I didn't expect too much in order to avoid a latter disappointment. But now I'm so thrilled! I won it and they rewarded me a notebook PC. Thanks much GF Magazine! Long live! :D
Degas denim overall, DIY white flowery shirt, leggins, DIY converse sneakers, Tan Cha knitted hat, Vogue bag.
I sewed all the badges and accessories like buttons and fabrics onto these white sneakers. And I'm totally in love with these. Have a nice day everyone!
