Hanging Shoes on Your Neck

Welcome to my DIY statement necklace post! It seems like I never let my childhood - 90's memories gone completely, because I'm gonna use my Barbie doll shoes as pendants for the necklace. So here we go. The steps are so easy to follow. I need less than one meter jewelry chain, a bunch of jump rings, a closure, and jewelry plier. I used black chain to give contrast from those neon colored shoes.

First, create a small hole on the side of shoes by piercing it by a pushpin.

Then attach the closure to the chain. I used lobster claw type because it's the easiest closure to find in my place.

Attach the shoes to the chain by getting it threaded with jump rings using jewelry plier. Next, keep adding on shoes.

And finally, I'm so ready to wear my new quirky necklace!

Saturday Afternoon

Many people say baggy outfits are unflattering. I've got no problem with baggy clothing, I love it so much instead! Since I'm not a fan of tight outfits, I find this light baggy dress so comfortable yet stylish enough for a night out on the town. I also can tell I'm not big underneath it. If color psychology tells that earth tones make you look more friendly and approachable, to me, the earth tones of the dress makes my afternoon even more relaxing. Have a nice weekend!

Hello, it was All Yellow!

Yellow is the brightest of all colors, and this yellow outfit always brings a brighter day to me.  This outfit is my mom's DIY project which reminds me of lemonade to freshen up the hot days, love it. Here I featured blue as an unconventional, eye-popping lip color so I toned other aspects of my make up down. For hair, I braided my bangs until reach my ear, and finished it with a bobby pin behind it.
Never expected before, that my simple braid headband could be featured in Look.co.uk as one of those adorable hairstyle inspirations for this summer, I'm blushing!
